For Ahan, the film not only marks his return to the theatres after a long gap, but he also has to carry forward his father Suniel Shetty's legacy, who was an important part of the film Border.     During the event, the actor spoke about the advice his father gave him regarding his role. Ahan said, "Just be honest with your role, be honest with the character, and just have fun. Go out there and enjoy yourself. Don't think too much about what people have to say, or don't compare it to Border 1. That was the most important."          He continued, "I'm grateful for this opportunity. First of all, working with Varun sir and Sunny sir, an absolute legend, who did Border with my father. So I'm also carrying that legacy forward. There is a certain type of pressure, but that pressure will always be there. But like they say, 'baap toh baap hota hai'. So if I can even be 10 per cent of what my father was in that film, I think I'll be able to do justice to the character."     Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh and Ahan Shetty play soldiers in Border 2 who are trying to navigate through the 1971 Indo-Pak war. Directed by Anurag Singh and backed by Bhushan Kumar, JP Dutta and Nidhi Dutta, Border 2 brings together a strong cast including Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh, Medha Rana, Mona Singh, Sonam Bajwa and Ahan Shetty.          Presented by Gulshan Kumar and T Series along with JP Dutta's production house, the film aims to honour the spirit of Indian soldiers and take audiences through a journey of patriotism, courage and sacrifice.
